Broughton Heritage Consultancy NOT ACTIVELY TRADING From 30 June 2023 commenced business in 2001, providing archival research services and book valuations under the then Taxation Incentives for the Arts Scheme. 

BHC then diversified  training in rare book and archives management for library technicians, librarians and archivists.

Conference based   "Ask the Curator" products led to conference  seminars  on preserving personal collections and rare book acquisition  were developed and expanded due to market demand from collectors groups.

Bob Broughton, now provides advice on cultural collections in heritage buildings and on heritage maintenance issues (when he is not firing cannons).

Bob’s training and experience has provided him with skills in both traditional house-building materials such as stone, plaster, wood and metal, coupled with academic preservation theory and practice.

Professional experience in heritage building management has been augmented with additional academic qualifications, including a Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies, and a Masters  in Cultural Heritage Management.  Associated professionals are available to contract  in architecture, art assessment, engineering, map preservation , painting, plumbing and book binding as required

The current  full product range of heritage advice, building assessment , collection valuation, research and archival services  and project management products were integrated for a complete "one stop heritage  shop" in early 2010
